What the heck IS therapy?
Therapy is a unique professional relationship built on respect, trust, and creating an environment to explore your internal world. I offer an external perspective to explore your values and goals, and what lies in between you living your best life.
My goal is to support you in identifying values which are most important to you. What do you hold dear? What type of human do you want to be, and how would that human act? We will use that as our guide to identifying what barriers get in the way of you living within those values.
Therapy can be an opportunity to learn new ways to manage emotional discomfort, unhelpful and painful thoughts, and change actions which cause pain and keep us from living the lives we truly want.
